The role is identified in the description as Data & AI Project Lead and is based in Qatar.
The position owns end-to-end delivery of data, analytics, governance, and AI-related initiatives.
Required Experience
- At least 12 years of experience managing large-scale data and AI projects is required.
- Good GCC banking experience is stated as required, while banking or financial services experience is otherwise described as preferred.
- Strong technical understanding of data platforms, analytics ecosystems, and AI-driven solutions is required.
- The candidate must manage complex stakeholder environments and deliver programs under tight timelines.
- Hands-on Agile project management, JIRA, collaboration tools, communication, leadership, and vendor management skills are required.
Key Responsibilities
- Own project planning, execution, governance, and closure.
- Manage stakeholders across business units, IT teams, and external partners.
- Drive Agile governance, sprint planning, backlog management, and JIRA progress tracking.
- Facilitate Project Review Working Groups and support risk mitigation and decision-making.
- Coordinate vendors against timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Monitor dependencies, risks, issues, and escalations across workstreams.
- Deliver data, analytics, governance, and AI initiatives aligned with business objectives.
Evaluation Criteria
Profiles will be assessed on data, analytics, and AI project experience and leadership of large-scale transformation programs.
Evaluation includes Agile delivery, JIRA, stakeholder and vendor management, banking or financial services exposure, and immediate availability.
