Role Overview
Lead Data and AI project delivery for large-scale initiatives.
The role is located in Qatar and requires 12+ years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Own project delivery end to end, including planning, execution, governance, and closure.
- Manage stakeholders across business units, IT teams, and external partners.
- Drive Agile governance through sprint planning, backlog management, and JIRA progress tracking.
- Facilitate Project Review Working Groups, updates, risk mitigation, and decision-making.
- Coordinate vendors and monitor timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Track dependencies, risks, issues, and escalations across workstreams.
- Deliver Data, Analytics, Governance, and AI initiatives aligned with business objectives.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 12+ years of experience managing large-scale Data and AI projects.
- Strong technical understanding of data platforms, analytics ecosystems, and AI-driven solutions.
- Proven ability to manage complex stakeholders and deliver programs under tight timelines.
- Hands-on expertise in Agile project management, JIRA, and collaboration tools.
- Strong communication, leadership, and vendor management skills.
- Banking or financial-services experience is preferred.
- GCC and/or Qatar banking experience is highly desirable.
Evaluation Criteria
Profiles will be assessed for depth of Data, Analytics, and AI project experience.
Large-scale transformation-program leadership will be evaluated.
Banking or financial-services domain exposure in Qatar or the GCC is preferred.
Agile delivery and JIRA experience will be evaluated.
Stakeholder and vendor management capability will be assessed.
Availability to support immediate project timelines is part of the evaluation.
