Role Overview
GDIT is seeking a Cybersecurity Implementation Engineer to support an Intelligence Community customer in Springfield, Virginia.
The role focuses on implementing and maintaining cybersecurity infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.
Workplace
- This is an onsite position in Springfield, Virginia.
- Travel is not required.
Responsibilities
- Build, deploy, configure, and maintain cybersecurity infrastructure and applications on Windows and Linux.
- Implement cybersecurity solutions using EC2, EBS, ELB, S3, RDS, and related cloud services.
- Research enterprise cybersecurity capabilities and recommend technology upgrades.
- Develop architecture diagrams, technology road maps, test plans, and implementation documentation.
- Coordinate security assessments and authorization activities with stakeholders and external assessors.
- Represent customer requirements in technical exchanges and may serve as a team or task lead.
Required Qualifications
- Deep expertise in one cybersecurity technology area and working knowledge of additional areas such as NDR, EDR, NGFWs, IDS/IPS, F5, or security gateways.
