Role Overview
The Customer Service Executive will manage freight-forwarding shipments, coordinate with service partners, solve shipment issues, and keep customers informed until cargo is delivered.
Required Skills and Experience
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in the freight-forwarding industry.
- Knowledge of at least two products, including air import/export or sea import/export.
- Knowledge of import/export processes for air and sea freight products.
- Basic understanding of customs clearance.
- Ability to handle multiple shipments at the same time.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
Customer Communication
- Act as the main contact person for customers.
- Respond to queries regarding shipment status, documentation, schedules, and charges.
- Provide regular shipment updates to customers.
Shipment Coordination
- Coordinate with operations, documentation teams, transporters, and warehouses.
- Arrange cargo pickup and delivery.
- Monitor shipment movement from origin to destination.
