Role overview
The Customer Reliability Engineer or Technical Specialist works at customer facilities and participates in activities covered by the partnership agreement.
The role evaluates seals and equipment, makes recommendations, and may lead customer reliability personnel with oversight from account or regional engineering staff.
The candidate must be willing and able to travel as needed to support assignments.
Responsibilities
- Review customer applications and recommend improvements to mean time between repair.
- Analyze applications and submit improvement recommendations for approval.
- Direct installation and commissioning of mechanical seals and auxiliary support systems.
- Collect and evaluate customer data and report seal programme results using reliability management software such as ServiceMax.
- Maintain the equipment survey.
- Provide technical assistance, recommendations, counselling, and presentations to customers, personnel, vendors, and management.
- Train customer maintenance and operations personnel.
- Assist with Management of Change and collect equipment data sheets from project engineers.
