Engineer - Customer Service

• Techno Commercial Support to First Fit, Handling Investment Case Preparation & Approvals, Price Agreements.
• Forecast follow for the Order Intake Month Wise.
• SR1 & SR2 Order Entry, Review the Open Orders and follow up for the Blockage and Expedite.
• Coordination with Sales, Service Centers, and Operations teams for expedition.
• Handling and Support Customer Rejections and Issue resolution.
• Payments, Inventory and Material Availability follow-up
• Maintain Customer Master Data, Amendments, Manage credit limits for both existing and new customers through MDM and SAP, ensuring compliance with the Delegation of Authority (DoA) guidelines.
• Maintain strong coordination with Sales and Finance teams to drive collection and closure of outstanding debtor balances as per business targets.
• Support the Team and Management as on Business requirement.

• Ensure 100% compliance with business processes and procedures related to Pre & Post Orders and other applicable systems.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancement initiatives.
• Adhere to Smiths policies and contribute to workplace safety, quality, and operational excellence.
• Liaise and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and the First Fit Sales Team to support business objectives and customer requirements.
• Support the effective execution of pre-order and post-order activities through cross-functional coordination.
• Ensure compliance with Smiths Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) standards and actively promote a safe working environment.

• Apply technical and analytical skills in evaluating customer requirements, reviewing drawings, preparing cost estimates, pricing proposals, and supporting order execution activities.
• Maintain effective communication with customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth business operations.
• Support to be extended to Team as required by Business

• BE/Diploma with minimum 2 years of experience in Customer Service/ Order Management in manufacturing Sector.
