Opportunity Overview
The Customer Production Support Engineer provides service and application support for Teradyne customer production test systems in India.
The role supports system availability, test-cell utilization, customer test processes, and production problem resolution.
Customer and Equipment Support
- Install systems and provide preventive maintenance, complex troubleshooting, and break-fix repair.
- Analyze production impacts and improve utilization of customer test cells.
- Create support plans with customers and cross-functional teams to reduce equipment downtime and maintenance cost.
Test Programs and Problem Resolution
- Develop characterization and production test programs to solve customer test problems.
- Collect and analyze data, own escalated service problems through resolution, and improve customer test processes.
- Act as the liaison between Teradyne factory teams and customers.
Training and Leadership
- Provide formal and on-the-job training to customers.
- Represent the organization as a primary customer contact and key liaison to customer and departmental leadership.
