Overview
Teradyne is building an in-house AI security engineering capability within its Information Security organization.
The role secures enterprise use of AI tools and leads the evolution of AI-driven cybersecurity defense and security automation.
The position works with Information Security, Product Security, the Deputy CISO, and the AI Transformation program.
Enterprise AI Security
- Define and implement controls and guardrails for LLM APIs, SaaS AI platforms, internal AI services, and autonomous or semi-autonomous agents.
- Own and improve AI security platforms, agentic gateways, AI-aware monitoring, and enterprise AI security tooling.
- Prevent sensitive data and intellectual property leakage through input and output filtering, data classification, and secure handling of prompts, embeddings, and outputs.
- Develop threat models covering data leakage, prompt injection, model misuse, AI vendor supply-chain risk, and unauthorized agent actions.
- Lead AI security architecture reviews and define controls for agent identity, tool and API access, data use, and auditability.
- Evaluate third-party AI vendors and platforms for data handling, model behavior, and integration risk.
- Create guidance and education on secure prompting, data handling, and appropriate AI tool use.
