Position Summary
The position is a Blue Yonder WMS Technical Consultant and Development Lead for an Assistant Manager role.
The role is responsible for end-to-end WMS technical delivery, hands-on development, solution design, and leading a team of developers.
The role requires expertise in Blue Yonder (JDA) WMS and ownership of quality, performance, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and enhancement of Blue Yonder WMS solutions, including MOCA, Page Builder, reports, labels, and integrations.
- Own technical solutioning for inbound, outbound, inventory, and RF workflows.
- Translate business requirements into scalable and performant WMS designs.
- Perform hands-on development using Java, C, MOCA, and SQL.
- Review code, enforce standards, lead architecture discussions, and guide design decisions.
- Mentor junior developers and coordinate with functional, QA, DevOps, and infrastructure teams.
- Support configuration, deployments, upgrades, production issue resolution, and delivery planning.
- Ensure WMS performance, scalability, stability, and security.
Professional and Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on Blue Yonder (JDA) WMS development experience.
- MOCA, Page Builder, reports, Integrator, labels, commands, extensions, triggers, and workflows.
- Java or C-based WMS frameworks and strong SQL, Oracle, or DB2 skills.
- RF screen development, warehouse device integration, and warehouse operations knowledge.
- CI/CD pipelines, Git or version control, build tools, and Unix/Linux exposure.
- 3PL or retail warehouse implementation experience and global onsite-offshore delivery models.
- Blue Yonder WMS upgrades or cloud migration, REST/SOAP integrations, and automation testing exposure are advantageous.
- Technical leadership, mentoring, communication, stakeholder management, and delivery-focused ownership.
Qualifications
- At least 7.5 years of experience in Blue Yonder Warehouse Management is required.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
Work Location
- The position is based at the Accenture Chennai office.
