ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• · Perform detailed cleaning of newly completed and assigned areas.
• · Remove construction dust, dirt, debris, and other materials from work areas.
• · Sweep, vacuum, mop, scrub, and maintain floors and other building surfaces.
• · Clean kitchens, appliances, cabinetry, fixtures, restrooms, doors, glass, mirrors, walls, and other finished surfaces.
• · Clean hallways, stairwells, common areas, entrances, and other assigned spaces.
• · Empty trash and debris and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
• · Safely operate commercial cleaning equipment and use cleaning products in accordance with established procedures.
• · Follow assigned work instructions, project schedules, customer expectations, and jobsite safety requirements.
• · Inspect assigned areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and quality standards are maintained.
• · Report maintenance concerns, damaged equipment, safety hazards, or supply needs to management.
• · Perform other duties and special cleaning projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• · Dependable attendance and reliable transportation to the assigned work location.
• · Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• · Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• · Ability to safely use cleaning products, tools, and equipment.
• · Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• · Previous commercial cleaning, custodial, janitorial, construction-site cleaning, or related experience preferred but not required.
• · Ability to follow GSF, customer, and jobsite safety requirements.
• · Ability to successfully complete any required background screening.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• · Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
• · Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, and perform repetitive movements.
• · Ability to climb stairs and move through large facilities.
• · Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• · Ability to push and pull cleaning carts, trash containers, vacuums, and other equipment.
• · Ability to work with commercial cleaning products while following established safety procedures.
• · Ability to wear required personal protective equipment.
• · Ability to work in environments that may include dust, odors, cleaning chemicals, varying temperatures, and wet or slippery surfaces.
