About the Role
Mira, a personal AI agent, is seeking a CTO to lead a team of 4 engineers and shape the technical direction of AI agent systems. You will architect high-load distributed systems, oversee development of B2C and enterprise AI agents, and define engineering practices.

- Lead and grow the engineering team (currently 4 engineers), setting technical direction and culture
- Architect and oversee the development of AI agent systems both high load B2C agents and complex multi agent pipelines
- Own the full technical stack: TypeScript, Restate, Kubernetes, AWS
- Define engineering processes, code quality standards, and deployment practices
- Collaborate closely with product and design to translate vision into scalable systems
- Make key decisions on infrastructure, model selection, and agent design
- Hire and mentor senior engineers as the team scales
Requirements
- 5+ years of engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role
- Hands on experience building and shipping AI agents or LLM based products in production
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and distributed systems architecture
- Experience with Kubernetes and AWS at scale
- Deep understanding of high load B2C systems latency, reliability, scalability
- Proven ability to lead and grow engineering teams
