Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crypto Trader to join our fintech team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing cryptocurrency trades, monitoring market trends, and implementing effective trading strategies to maximize profitability.

This role requires strong analytical skills, deep knowledge of digital assets, and a solid understanding of VARA regulations and UAE compliance requirements.

The Crypto Trader will work closely with the finance, operations, and compliance teams to ensure accurate reporting, risk management, and adherence to all regulatory standards.

The role demands a proactive, disciplined, and results-oriented professional who can thrive in a fast-paced, high-volatility market environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor crypto market trends, price movements, and news to identify trading opportunities.
  • Conduct technical and fundamental analysis to inform trading decisions.
  • Ensure all trading activities comply with VARA regulations and internal compliance policies.
  • Maintain detailed records of trades, P&L, and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with finance, compliance, and operations teams for smooth execution and reporting.
  • Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential losses.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a crypto trader, preferably in UAE or VARA-regulated environments.
  • Strong knowledge of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency markets (Bitcoin, Ethereum, stablecoins, DeFi platforms).
  • Familiarity with crypto exchanges, wallets, and trading platforms (e.g., Binance, Coinbase, MetaTrader, or proprietary systems).
  • Solid analytical and decision-making skills under pressure.
  • Understanding of risk management and compliance requirements in the UAE fintech sector.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.

Core Competencies

  • Relevant certification (e.g., Certified Cryptocurrency Trader, CFA, or Blockchain/Fintech courses).
  • Previous experience in a fintech or trading firm under UAE regulations.
  • Familiarity with AML/CFT regulations related to crypto trading.
  • Compensations and Benefits:
  • Working Hours: Mondays to Fridays from 9AM to 5PM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED8,000.00 per month
