Position Overview
Surrey Police Service (SPS) seeks a Term Full Time Crime Analyst 2 to support complex criminal investigative activities, operational programs, and crime reduction strategies.
The role involves statistical, tactical, and strategic crime analysis services and intelligence information to management.
The position is anticipated to begin in November 2026 and continue for approximately 12 months.

Responsibilities
- Collect, assemble, analyze, and interpret investigative and intelligence data to support ongoing investigations.
- Review police occurrence files to determine immediate crime problems and patterns of criminal activity.
- Prepare suspect and victim profiles, suspect lists, maps, and other graphic representations of criminal activity.
- Evaluate and validate intelligence information gathered from various sources.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive files, records, and documentation.
- Establish and maintain working relationships with staff and external agencies.
- Assist in the design and planning of projects relative to specific developments or detailed investigations.
