Responsibilities
- Lead end to end crewing function for all company vessels
- Engage with Project Managers to understand project pipelines and manpower forecasts
- Lead cross functional crew planning meetings with Operations and Technical teams
- Ensure all crew hold valid mandatory, safety and technical certifications
- Drive continuous improvement of crewing procedures and systems
- Conduct audits of crew records and manning agents
- Deliver crewing information to Payroll accurately and on schedule
- Act as focal point for offshore crew queries on compensation, benefits, and rotation
- Support Finance and Project Managers with budgeting and cost control
- Lead selection and evaluation of third party manning agencies
Requirements
- Expert knowledge of marine seismic crewing structures
- Demonstrated ability to lead crewing functions within seismic or marine environments
- Strong understanding of vessel operations, offshore project cycles, and HSE requirements
- Comprehensive knowledge of global offshore regulatory requirements including STCW, flag state rules, visa/work permit processes
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Proficient in IT systems and applications
- Ability to travel offshore and worldwide

Role Overview
- The Crewing Manager leads end to end crewing for all company vessels, ensuring staffing with competent, compliant personnel aligned with the Crew Model and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Structured engagement with Project Managers to understand project pipelines, risks, and manpower forecasts.
- Lead cross functional crew planning meetings with Operations and Technical teams.
- Clear communication with offshore crew, Project Managers, Technical Managers, manning agencies, and senior leadership.
- Ensure all crew hold valid mandatory, safety and technical certifications.
- Ensure strong governance over regulatory requirements including training certifications, visas, permits to work, medical certifications, and vaccination records.
- Drive continuous improvement of crewing procedures, workflows, and systems.
- Conduct ad hoc audits to ensure accurate and compliant personnel records.
- Deliver crewing information to Payroll accurately and on schedule monthly.
- Act as focal point for offshore crew queries on compensation, benefits, and rotation.
- Provide support during crisis management events.
- Lead governance of Learning Management System (Ocean Learning Platform OLP).
- Support Finance and Project Managers with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Additional Responsibilities
- Lead selection and evaluation of third party manning agencies.
- Work with Legal Department to draft and finalize contracts with agencies.
- Coordinate with Procurement on vendor onboarding and contract lifecycle management.
- Conduct audits of manning agents and escalate non performance.
- Maintain a preferred agent list based on performance and feedback.
- Develop a proactive pool of pre screened contractors for short notice demands.
- Promote sustainable crew planning to minimize unnecessary changes.
- Work with Operations and Technical teams to develop suitable crew compositions.
- Provide technical crewing input for commercial tenders.
Who are we looking for?
- Expert knowledge of marine seismic crewing structures.
- Demonstrated ability to lead crewing functions within seismic or marine environments.
- Strong understanding of vessel operations, offshore project cycles, and HSE requirements.
- Comprehensive knowledge of global offshore regulatory requirements including STCW, flag state rules, visa/work permit processes, medical certification, and training compliance.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in IT systems and applications.
- Strong influencing skills.
- Ability to assess crew competency profiles and build balanced crews.
- Possess certification to travel offshore on Company vessels.
- Ability to travel to vessels worldwide.
- Commitment to Company's environmental agenda.
