Role Overview
The Credit Manager evaluates credit applications, handles complex decisions and escalations, supports dealer relationships, and provides guidance to credit analysts.
The role also supports team scheduling, recruitment, performance management, analysis, process improvements, and policy recommendations.
Credit and Dealer Responsibilities
- Analyze, evaluate, and approve or decline applications within authorized lending limits and company policies.
- Review escalated and exception credit requests and communicate decisions, terms, and conditions to dealers.
- Handle complaints, appeals, and escalations from dealers and customers.
- Attend dealer meetings, provide credit expertise, and gather feedback on products and programs.
Team Leadership
- Coach, train, mentor, and monitor analysts while providing ongoing support and performance feedback.
