Role Overview
The Credit Controller supports the Credit Control team by managing customer outstanding balances, collecting premiums on time, monitoring payment terms, and maintaining accurate records.
The role coordinates with clients, internal teams, and insurance companies to collect payments within agreed credit terms and policy payment deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow up with clients on outstanding premium payments and ensure timely collection.
- Monitor daily and weekly ageing reports and prioritize overdue accounts for follow-up.
- Send payment reminders, statements of account, and overdue notifications to clients.
- Monitor Premium Payment Warranty and other insurer payment deadlines to help prevent policy cancellation or coverage disruption.
- Coordinate with Account Executives, Sales, and Operations teams regarding overdue payments.
- Maintain records of client payment commitments and follow up on agreed payment dates.
