Role Overview
Sobeys is seeking a Creative Lead, Copy & Operations to combine creative thinking, exceptional copywriting, and creative-team workflow management.
The role leads creative content strategy and execution across digital, print, advertising, social media, email, and web channels.
Responsibilities
- Lead copy and messaging strategies for integrated marketing campaigns in collaboration with creative, marketing, and design teams.
- Review, edit, and oversee copy while mentoring copywriters and maintaining brand voice across channels.
- Manage creative briefs, resourcing, timelines, priorities, dependencies, stakeholder feedback, and delivery.
- Own Asana and Box workflow and asset-management practices for the in-house creative team.
- Improve creative processes, templates, collaboration, visibility, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in creative concepts and strategies or a related role.
- Proven marketing-content experience and a strong portfolio across digital, print, and social media.
- Experience managing creative projects, multiple briefs, stakeholders, and timelines.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to balance quality, deadlines, resources, and changing priorities.
