Savvee Inc. is seeking a thorough Crash Analysis Specialist to support our federal client remotely, with preference given to candidates located near Washington, D.C. or Cambridge, MA.
The ideal candidate will review crash reports, investigative findings, and support evidence to analyze contributing factors and develop accurate, defensible recommendations in accordance with established program standards and procedures.
They will also exercise strong analytical judgment to independently evaluate complex crash information while ensuring quality, consistency, efficiency, and continuous process improvement in support of transportation safety initiatives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Reviewing crash reports, investigative documentation, supporting evidence, and related case materials to evaluate crash circumstances and contributing factors.
Analyzing crash-related information to develop recommendations based on established program standards, policies, and review criteria.
Evaluating complex transportation safety scenarios and identifying relevant facts, conditions, and contributing events that impact case outcomes.
Reviewing information from multiple systems, databases, reports, and documentation sources to support case analysis and recommendations.
Developing clear, accurate, and well-supported recommendations based on documented evidence and established guidance.
Documenting analysis, findings, supporting rationale, and recommendations in accordance with quality and documentation standards.
Maintaining assigned caseloads and analysis workloads while meeting productivity, accuracy, and timeliness requirements.
Participating in technical review meetings, training sessions, working groups, and collaborative review activities.
Supporting quality assurance and peer review efforts to ensure consistency and accuracy across review activities.
Identifying discrepancies, conflicting information, or documentation deficiencies and recommend appropriate follow-up actions.
Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives by identifying trends, recurring issues, emerging risks, and opportunities for process enhancement.
Supporting development of recommendations related to process improvements, operational efficiencies, and program enhancements.
Preparing reports, metrics, summaries, analytical findings, and supporting documentation for project leadership.

Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND TRAINING
Bachelor’s degree MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Five or more years of experience analyzing crash reports, accident investigations, claims, safety events, transportation incidents, or similar fact-based case files
Experience conducting analytical reviews and developing recommendations based on evidence, documentation, policies, and established review criteria
Experience documenting findings, conclusions, and recommendations in written format
Ability to independently manage workloads while maintaining quality and timeliness standards
Ability to review complex information and consistently apply established standards and procedures
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
Strong analytical, research, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A highly motivated self-starter
Must be motivated and have excellent customer service skills
Proven familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and responsible use of AI-assisted tools
Must have the ability to obtain the client’s Public Trust clearance DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with transportation safety, crash analysis, accident investigation, commercial vehicle safety, and/or insurance claims investigation or liability analysis
Experience analyzing large datasets, trends, or transportation safety performance metrics
Law enforcement traffic investigation experience
Federal government program support experience
Experience supporting transportation, safety, risk management, or regulatory compliance programs
