Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in offshore or marine crane operations
- Some experience in a leadership role
- Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic crane systems
- Experience in crane inspections, maintenance, and compliance with offshore standards
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Marine Engineering, or related field

Responsibilities
- Supervise daily offshore crane operations to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable lifting activities.
- Monitor the condition and performance of crane systems, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
- Oversee routine and preventive maintenance, inspections, and certification of offshore lifting equipment.
- Ensure all crane systems comply with offshore industry standards.
- Enforce adherence to marine safety protocols, lifting procedures, and international regulations such as LOLER, API RP 2D, and IMCA guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and up to date records of inspections, maintenance logs, and lifting certifications.
- Lead and coordinate crane operators, riggers, and maintenance personnel onboard the vessel or offshore facility.
- Allocate tasks effectively and ensure all crane activities are carried out safely and within schedule.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to crane equipment and lifting operations.
- Collaborate with team members to develop safe and practical solutions to operational challenges.
- Manage multiple crane related tasks and support project timelines during offshore campaigns or marine construction activities.
- Liaise with marine, deck, and engineering teams to ensure alignment with overall project and vessel operations.
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in offshore or marine crane operations, with some experience in a leadership role.
- Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic crane systems.
- Experience in crane inspections, maintenance, and compliance with offshore standards.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and coordinate a team.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve crane related issues quickly.
- Good communication skills for reporting and keeping accurate records.
- Familiar with using maintenance management systems for tracking crane activities.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast paced offshore environment.
- Focus on safety and efficient operations.
Education
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
