CPB Contractors is helping develop an 80 MW data centre in Truganina, Melbourne, with integrated electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, fire protection, ICT and security systems.
The Crane and Logistics Coordinator will help keep the construction project moving by coordinating crane operations, deliveries and site logistics.
What you will do
- Coordinate crane bookings and lifting schedules to support project activities.
- Work with crane providers, subcontractors and site teams to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Manage deliveries, site access and the movement of materials and equipment across site.
- Maintain logistics plans and accurate crane and delivery records.
- Identify clashes, risks and scheduling issues in upcoming work programs.
- Coordinate permits, approvals and documentation for crane and logistics activities.
- Communicate schedule changes and impacts to stakeholders.
- Support day-to-day logistics planning, reporting, administration and record keeping.
- Build relationships with suppliers, subcontractors and project personnel.
- Contribute to the project safety culture and requirements.
What you will bring
- Experience in logistics, coordination, project support or a similar role.
- Strong organization, prioritization and attention-to-detail skills.
- A proactive approach, practical problem-solving ability and adaptability when priorities change.
- Confidence working with diverse stakeholders and building positive working relationships.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office and learning new systems and processes.
- Construction, infrastructure, civil or major-project experience is welcomed but not required.
Work environment
- The role supports active construction-site operations and requires coordination across the project site.
- The work involves frequent interaction with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and crane providers.
