Counterparty Risk Senior Analyst

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in commercial underwriting, credit risk, counterparty risk, lending, financial services, or related risk management functions.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on commercial underwriting or counterparty risk experience.
• Direct experience in solar finance underwriting, including evaluating solar installers/dealers, reviewing financial performance, cash flow, creditworthiness, and overall counterparty risk.
• Demonstrated ability to independently evaluate complex counterparties and make credit and risk recommendations.
• Strong experience analyzing financial statements, cash flow, credit reports, and other financial information.
• Experience managing or monitoring a portfolio of commercial partners, dealers, contractors, or counterparties.
• Experience with solar, renewable energy, solar finance, or contractor risk is highly preferred.
• Experience identifying fraud, financial deterioration, compliance gaps, and other emerging portfolio risks.
• Experience improving or automating underwriting, risk monitoring, or operational workflows is preferred.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel; experience with SQL, Salesforce (SFDC), Tableau, Experian, LexisNexis, or similar tools is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present risk findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Ability to independently manage multiple priorities and complex assignments in a fast-paced environment with limited oversight.
