Role overview
The counterparty team is seeking a proactive individual to support day-to-day operations.
The role manages counterparty onboarding priorities, business-as-usual tasks, and communications with external financial institutions.
The position serves as a visible, approachable, and accountable contact point within the business.
KYC responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for KYC inquiries relating to current onboardings and account refreshes.
- Share constitutional and financial documents with counterparties where appropriate.
- Monitor and maintain the KYC portal.
- Answer counterparty questionnaires and queries.
- Obtain KYC from counterparties and keep internal records up to date.
Onboarding responsibilities
- Assist with the day-to-day lifecycle of counterparty onboarding across multiple asset classes.
- Track new counterparties and new products for existing counterparties using workflow software.
- Send onboarding requirements, conduct high-level reviews, and route them to relevant departments.
- Coordinate with risk, compliance, legal, middle-office, and external front-, middle-, and back-office teams.
