Role Overview
The counterparty team is seeking a proactive individual to support day-to-day operations and business priorities from a counterparty onboarding perspective.
The role involves daily interaction with external financial institutions and requires the analyst to act as a visible, approachable, and accountable contact point.
KYC Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for KYC inquiries related to current onboardings and account refreshes.
- Share constitutional and financial documents with counterparties where appropriate.
- Monitor and maintain the KYC portal.
- Answer counterparty questionnaires and queries and escalate complex matters to internal departments.
- Obtain KYC information from counterparties and keep internal records up to date.
Onboarding Responsibilities
- Assist with the day-to-day counterparty onboarding lifecycle across multiple asset classes.
- Track new counterparties and new products for existing counterparties through workflow software.
- Send onboarding requirements, conduct high-level reviews, and pass requirements to relevant departments.
- Coordinate with risk, compliance, legal, and middle-office teams to obtain approvals and complete onboarding.
