Role Overview
Manage pre-contract and post-contract cost activities for MEP packages on a Data Centre project.
Cost Management
- Prepare and manage MEP cost estimates, budgets, and cost plans across all project stages.
- Provide cost control, financial reporting, forecasting, and commercial advice.
- Review MEP designs with design teams for commercial viability and budget alignment.
Procurement and Contracts
- Manage MEP procurement, including tender documentation, tender analysis, bid evaluation, and contract recommendations.
- Handle contract administration for MEP works.
- Assess and manage variations, claims, and change requests, including accurate valuation and cost impact assessment.
Requirements
- Capability to manage MEP costs across pre-contract and post-contract project stages.
- Capability to prepare detailed MEP cost estimates, budgets, and cost plans.
- Capability to manage procurement, tender analysis, bid evaluation, and contract recommendations for MEP works.
- Capability to assess and value variations, claims, change requests, and their cost impacts.
