- Prepare detailed cost estimates for instrumentation and control system projects
- Perform quantity take offs and prepare Bills of Quantities
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from vendors and subcontractors
- Develop project budgets and monitor costs against approved budgets
- Prepare cost forecasts, cash flow projections, and earned value reports
- Analyze cost variances and recommend corrective actions
- Evaluate variation orders, claims, and additional scope costs
Requirements
- Experience in cost estimation and cost control for instrumentation projects
- Ability to review ITB documents, technical specifications, drawings, and P&IDs
- Proficiency in preparing BOQ, manpower loading, and productivity calculations
- Experience with DCS, PLC, ESD, SCADA systems

Estimation
- Review ITB documents, technical specifications, drawings, P&IDs, instrument indexes, and project scope.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for instrumentation and control system projects.
- Perform quantity take offs and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
- Estimate costs for field instruments, control valves, instrument cabling, junction boxes, instrument tubing & fittings, DCS, PLC, ESD, SCADA systems, analyzer packages, and instrument installation, calibration, testing & commissioning.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from vendors and subcontractors.
- Prepare manpower loading and productivity calculations.
- Support tender submissions, bid evaluations, and commercial proposals.
- Identify project risks, assumptions, and cost saving opportunities.
Cost Control
- Develop project budgets and cost control procedures.
- Monitor project costs against approved budgets.
- Track labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor expenditures.
- Prepare cost forecasts, cash flow projections, and earned value reports.
- Analyze cost variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare weekly and monthly cost reports for management review.
- Evaluate variation orders, claims, and additional scope costs.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Planning, Finance, and Project Teams.
