Responsibilities
- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and client requirements
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical works including power distribution, substations, switchgear, cable routing, lighting, earthing, and instrumentation
- Perform quantity take offs from drawings and specifications
- Prepare material, labor, equipment, and subcontract cost estimates
- Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations
- Participate in bid clarifications and tender submissions
- Identify project risks, assumptions, and opportunities during estimation
- Develop project budgets and cost control procedures
- Monitor project expenditures against approved budgets
- Track labor, material, equipment, and subcontract costs
- Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and variance analyses
- Support project managers with cost performance monitoring
Requirements
- Experience in cost estimation and cost control for electrical works
- Ability to review tender documents, drawings, and specifications
- Proficiency in quantity take offs and preparing BOQs
- Experience with supplier and subcontractor quotation evaluation
- Strong analytical and reporting skills

Estimation Responsibilities
- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and client requirements
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical works including Power Distribution Systems, Substations, Switchgear & MCCs, Cable Routing & Cable Tray Systems, Lighting Systems, Earthing & Lightning Protection Systems, Instrumentation Interface Works, and Industrial Electrical Installations
- Perform quantity take offs from drawings and specifications
- Prepare material, labor, equipment, and subcontract cost estimates
- Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations
- Participate in bid clarifications and tender submissions
- Identify project risks, assumptions, and opportunities during the estimation stage

- Assist in change order and variation cost assessments
- Coordinate with Procurement, Finance, Planning, and Project Teams
