The company is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Control Engineer in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The role supports project cost management, budget analysis, and efficient resource allocation for engineering and construction projects.
Job Location
- The job location is Musaffah, Abu Dhabi.
- Work is performed in person.
Compensation
- Salary is based on experience and qualifications.
- The stated pay range is AED 4,590.59 to AED 17,352.08 per month.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project cost estimates and budgets.
- Monitor project expenses and track budget variances.
- Prepare cost reports and forecasts for project managers and stakeholders.
- Analyze cost data to identify trends, risks, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain cost control systems, procedures, and documentation.
- Gather and validate cost information with project teams.
- Assist with change orders and contract modifications.
- Support cost-saving strategies, value engineering, and project review meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum five years of cost control or related experience.
- Construction or engineering project experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in cost estimation, forecasting, and budget analysis.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with Primavera or MS Project.
- Strong data analysis, reporting, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of construction processes, project lifecycles, and cost control methodologies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and adapt to new technologies.
