You’ll be a great fit if you have experience in
5–8 years of hands-on full-cycle accounting experience with mid-size companies
Previous experience with manufacturing accounting, inventory management, and building and maintain job costing models
Develop, maintain, and analyze standard costs for raw materials, labor, and overhead.
Partner with plant managers and operations teams to identify cost savings opportunities and improve manufacturing performance
Perform inventory accounting, including reconciliations, reserves, and valuation.
Lead or support physical inventories and cycle count programs while investigating inventory discrepancies.
Preparing and/or reviewing monthly account reconciliations
Demonstrating a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, experience researching technical GAAP issues within a manufacturing environment
Ability to adapt to various client environments, and communicate effectively at all levels within the organization
Skills You’ll Need
- Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree - Accounting or Finance degrees or relatable business degree
- Strong desire for consulting style work and delivering excellent client service
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Business partnership and communication skills
- Problem solving and critical thinking
- Hungry, Humble, Smart Attitude
- Highly Preferred:
- Work experience with both public and private companies
- Experience in middle-market manufacturing organizations ($50M-$500M revenue preferred)
- Hands on experience with ERP systems such as:
- Microsoft Dynamics
- NetSuite
- Epicor
- Infor
- SAP Business One
- Oracle
- Plex
- Preferred:
- A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or MBA
- Prior employment by a Big 4 or other nationally recognized accounting firms
