Job Requirements
- 5+ years of hands on, full-cycle Accounting experience (Big Four & public accounting experience a plus)
- Industry experience within private equity, technology, software/SaaS
- Revenue Recognition highly preferred
- Has experience with monthly close procedures as well as monthly and quarterly financial reporting
- Has prepared monthly bank and balance sheet account reconciliations
- Recent hands-on experience with routine accounting processes such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll and cash management
- Hands-on experience with accounting softwares (i.e. QuickBooks, NetSuite, Great Plains or Intacct), along with moderate – advanced experience with Microsoft Suite, especially Excel
- Strong desire for consulting style work and delivering excellent client service
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization both written and verbally
- B.A. or B.S. in Accounting or Finance required, CPA a plus
Preferred:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or MBA
Prior employment by a Big Four or other nationally recognized accounting firms
Industry experience in emerging growth, technology, and SaaS companies
