Job Overview

  • This is an opportunity for an ambitious and analytically minded professional to join Citi's private side Solutions Sales team in Dubai as an Assistant Vice President.
  • The role supports a senior team in the end to end execution of structured financing transactions, including Asset Backed Securities (ABS) and warehouse facilities, across the Middle East.
  • The role sits at the convergence of structured credit, loan distribution, and client coverage.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support end to end deal management of structured financing transactions including ABS and warehouse facilities from initial structuring through distribution and closing across the Middle East
  • Partner with Loans Origination, public side Markets Sales, and EMCT to design, price, and execute robust distribution strategies for conventional and Islamic loan transactions across primary and secondary markets
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Financial Institutions and Sponsors across the Middle East, with a focus on driving loan syndications and growing Citi's private side investor base
  • Contribute to preparation of credit applications and conduct thorough due diligence processes including legal reviews and analysis of audit reports
  • Prepare pitch books, marketing materials, case studies, and timely market updates to support regional Solutions Sales efforts and new business development initiatives
  • Act as effective liaison across internal stakeholders including Bankers, Risk, Legal, and Trading to ensure seamless deal execution

What We Need From You

  • A demonstrable track record in financial services with material exposure to structured financing, securitisation, leveraged finance, or a closely related capital markets discipline
  • Hands on experience or strong working familiarity with loan syndications, credit structuring, or ABS/warehouse financing
  • Strong quantitative and financial modelling capabilities with ability to conduct cashflow analysis, credit assessment, and scenario modelling
  • Proven ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders including financial institutions and sponsor clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience in preparing pitch books, client facing materials, and marketing presentations
  • Familiarity with Middle East financial markets and/or understanding of Islamic finance principles is advantageous; Arabic language proficiency is a plus but not required
