This role is based out of our Brookfield Office in downtown Calgary, Alberta .
You’ll be part of a collaborative corporate development team that works across multiple disciplines, including operations, engineering, finance, and commercial. The team values curiosity, analytical thinking, and proactive problem-solving, and will provide opportunities to learn from experienced professionals while contributing to meaningful projects.
This is a full-time student position based in our Brookfield office in downtown Calgary, working Monday to Friday. You’ll work in a professional, collaborative office environment with exposure to corporate development, commercial strategy, financial analysis, and business planning.
This role offers the opportunity to collaborate across operations, engineering, finance, and commercial teams while gaining hands-on experience supporting growth initiatives and strategic business opportunities.
Support research and analysis of oilfield activity, market trends, and competitive intelligence.
Assist with financial modelling, valuation, and return analysis under guidance from the team.
Contribute to the preparation of business cases, presentations, and briefing materials for internal use.
Participate in data gathering, regulatory research, and project documentation.
Help with stakeholder and customer support activities where needed.
Support ad-hoc corporate development projects as they arise.
Actively enrolled in a post-secondary program such as Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Environmental Studies, or a related discipline, and returning to studies after the work term.
Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of financial modelling is an asset.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized and able to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Curious, proactive, and eager to learn about corporate development and business growth initiatives.
