- Manage co culture and fish husbandry operations to equivalent standards
- Recognize and diagnose coral diseases and implement appropriate responses
- Supervise the husbandry team on quality standards and co culture farming procedures
- Maintain accurate records and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Collaborate with the team on the Primary Nursery Operational Readiness programme and post commissioning production timelines
- Facilitate daily communication between the Coral Husbandry team, management, and other personnel
- Dive as necessary in support of field operations
- Attend project meetings and contribute to ongoing project discussions
- Comply with all HSE procedures and actively participate in HSE initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Marine Biology or relevant field, or significant work based experience in coral and fish husbandry/aquaculture
- Minimum 3 years of hands on experience in coral husbandry with emphasis on coral sexual reproduction
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in coral co culture practices
- Previous experience working in remote or challenging, project based environments
- Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, and SharePoint
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Willingness to relocate to a remote location

About the Role
- The Coral Husbandry Technician Supervisor plays a pivotal role in this program.
- Reporting to the Coral Husbandry Specialist, you will implement advanced coral restoration techniques with a strong emphasis on co culture husbandry, manage the day to day operations of the coral nursery, and contribute directly to large scale reef restoration efforts.
- This is a hands on, field based role requiring willingness to relocate to a remote area.
