Position Overview
This is a temporary student placement and volunteer position where working hours are exchanged for course credit.
The Co-op Student Preventative Maintenance Technician Level 2 supports the Service team by keeping rental fleet and customer equipment safe, reliable, and operational.
The position is based in Bradford, Ontario.
What You Will Be Doing
- Wash equipment, touch up paint, replace decals, and clean interiors.
- Inspect rental equipment and complete preventative maintenance according to manufacturer recommendations.
- Perform quality assurance and annual inspections to verify equipment safety and operating condition.
- Test and operate construction equipment to identify damage or mechanical issues.
- Perform oil changes, filter replacements, and routine servicing.
- Maintain accurate documentation, inspections, and data entry.
- Maintain the shop, yard, and branch areas and load or unload customer rental equipment.
- Assist technicians and service team members, including guiding Level 1 Preventative Maintenance Technicians.
- Follow workplace safety protocols and environmentally sound practices.
- Support staggered shifts or weekend work when required.
