Position Information

Cook III position in the Food and Beverage & Culinary category.

Full-time, non-management position located at Le Méridien Dubai on Airport Road.

The role is not remote.

Cooking and Food Preparation

  • Prepare ingredients by portioning, cutting, storing, washing, peeling, measuring, and mixing them.
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklists.
  • Prepare cold food items and test food to ensure it is sufficiently cooked.
  • Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
  • Monitor food quality during preparation and verify food and appliance temperatures.
  • Prepare and organize food work areas and portion food into appropriate containers for service.

Kitchen Operations and Conduct

  • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, tables, utensils, knives, and equipment.
  • Follow company, safety, and security policies and report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions.
  • Complete safety training and certifications and maintain a clean, professional uniform and personal appearance.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally, develop positive working relationships, and support team goals.
  • Remain standing, seated, or walking for extended periods and handle objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
  • Perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
  • At least one year of related work experience is preferred.
  • No supervisory experience is required or listed.
  • No license or certification is required or listed.
