Position Overview

Cook I position in the Food and Beverage and Culinary category.

The position is non-management and scheduled as full time.

Workplace

  • The role is located at Airport Road, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Culinary Responsibilities

  • Prepare special meals, substitute dishes, cold foods, and other menu items.
  • Regulate cooking equipment temperatures and thaw frozen food safely.
  • Prepare food portions and presentation according to recipes, quality standards, and preparation checklists.
  • Maintain food records and monitor the quality and quantity of prepared food.
  • Communicate busy-period staffing needs, surplus food, menu specials, and unavailable items.
  • Assist management with employee training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, motivation, discipline, and coaching.

Safety and Service

  • Follow company safety and security policies and report maintenance needs, incidents, injuries, and hazardous conditions.
  • Maintain professional appearance and protect confidential information and company assets.
  • Anticipate guest service needs and communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns and help maintain expected quality standards.

Recommended Qualifications

  • A diploma from a technical, trade, or vocational school is recommended.
  • At least 3 years of related work experience is recommended.
  • No supervisory experience or certification is listed.

Physical Requirements

  • The role requires extended periods of standing, sitting, and moving, including bending, reaching, rotating, pulling, and squatting.
  • The role requires moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
