The role is located at JW Marriott in Doha, Qatar.
Kitchen Responsibilities
- Prepare special meals and substitute dishes.
- Regulate ovens, broilers, grills, and roasting equipment.
- Thaw frozen food in the refrigerator according to procedure.
- Prepare portions, presentations, garnishes, and cold food items.
- Maintain food logs and monitor the quality and quantity of prepared food.
- Notify the chef about surplus food for daily specials.
- Inform Food and Beverage service staff about unavailable items and menu specials.
- Request assistance during busy periods when needed.
Team and Guest Service
- Support management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, motivation, and employee coaching.
- Anticipate and address guest service needs.
- Use clear and courteous language in communications.
- Develop positive professional relationships with colleagues and support shared team goals.
