Position Summary
Cook I prepares and cooks food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklists.

Kitchen Responsibilities
- Prepare special meals, substitute items, and cold foods.
- Regulate temperatures of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
- Thaw frozen food in refrigerator storage.
- Ensure proper portions, arrangement, and garnish.
- Maintain food logs and monitor food quality and quantity.
- Communicate assistance needs during busy periods.
- Inform the chef about excess food for daily specials.
- Inform food and beverage staff about menu specials and unavailable menu items.
Service and Safety Duties
- Follow company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
- Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions.
