International of Alabama is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to interface with fellow engineers, maintenance and production staff to support 2nd shift production on our S13 Diesel Engine Assembly Line.

include day-to-day production support, process improvements, design and implementation of controls systems, network, and power distribution for current assembly lines.

The Huntsville facility runs a 4x10 production schedule (Mon-Thurs, 7:30PM - 6:00AM).

This role will support production and may need to cover production recovery times including Fridays and weekends as needed.

• Provide cross-functional troubleshooting support to S13 Diesel Engine Assembly line during 2nd shift.
• Establish programs and solutions for increasing up-time and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process.
• Evaluate, select, and order equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective for the manufacture of company products.
• Oversee the development, installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Study equipment performance and reliability.
• Provide technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations.
• Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of product manufacturing experience
