Role Overview
AWS Infrastructure Services operates the infrastructure supporting AWS data centers and cloud services.
The APAC Controls Deployment and Service team delivers and services control systems that support data center health across Australia and New Zealand, India, North Asia, and Southeast Asia.
The role focuses on building automation systems, including Building Management Systems and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems.
Controls Engineers may support new data center deployments, upgrades at live or colocated sites, regional servicing, and occasional global support.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy data center controls on time and manage vendors to minimize defects at Power and Facilities Hand-Off.
- Deliver critical projects to upgrade data center automation.
- Diagnose and resolve Loss of Visibility, Loss of Resilience, Large Scale Event, Critical Scale Event, and other operational-impacting events.
- Resolve tasks within predefined Service Level Agreements.
- Deliver initiatives that improve data center efficiency and operating procedures.
- Partner with construction, commissioning, critical projects, operations, procurement, program management, design, engineering, and vendor teams.
