Role Overview
ResQ provides an AI-powered facilities management platform for service companies and trades businesses.
The Controller owns the accounting function across ResQ's Canadian parent and U.S. subsidiaries.
The role offers high autonomy to make technical accounting and compliance decisions and build scalable processes.
What You Will Do
- Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and consolidation across all entities.
- Lead monthly and annual financial close processes.
- Analyze P&L and margins across service lines, contractor economics, delivery costs, and vendor payouts.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls, close processes, and accounting systems.
- Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, collections, and cash across all entities.
- Manage U.S. and Canadian tax obligations, nexus requirements, registrations, and sales tax filings.
- Develop cash flow forecasts, annual budgets, and variance analyses for executive decision-making.
- Build accounting processes and infrastructure as the company scales across North America.
Who You Are
- CPA designation from CPA Canada, CPA US, or an equivalent body.
