Full-Time | Compensation: $70,000-$80,000

As we continue expanding rapidly, we are seeking an experienced financial leader to strengthen our financial infrastructure and support long-term growth.

The Controller is responsible for managing the financial activities of the company, maintaining fiscal records, and ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded.

This position will play a pivotal role in the long-term financial strategy of the company.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Oversee the operations of all accounting functions working with all managers to achieve their department’s goals and objectives
• Supervise, direct, and manage the company’s financial activities, including procurement, budgeting, tax, and fiscal management
• Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and forecasts for future business growth
• Ensure that record systems are maintained in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards
• Work with external auditors to ensure proper auditing processes
• Monitor and confirm financial condition by conducting audits and providing information to external auditors
• Protect assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls
• Work with the payroll company including registering for Withholding Tax and UI IDs for each state with an employee
• Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, filing financial reports, and advising management on needed actions
