Control Systems Engineer II

We're looking for a Control Systems Engineer II to join our team!

This position will focus on managing specialized work efficiently, with confidence and competence.

The position requires above average attention to details, concern for the exact correctness of work, and strong commitment to tasks completed on time.

The person in this position will take work seriously, has a strong sense of duty, and is disciplined.

The position will generally be task oriented, requiring someone with a conservative, careful, and cautious approach to work.

• The location of the position is local to Columbus, Ohio . Candidates will need to reside in the greater Columbus, OH area.
• Position requires 30 - 40% independent travel to local customer locations in the area.

• Performing GrayMatter services to meet client needs, with a specific focus on Control Systems
• Designing, developing and implementing solutions to resolve customer issues
• Consulting with and training end users on new applications
• Assisting in project development and planning.
• Performing onsite pilots, FAT testing, SAT testing, and demos as needed

• Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable field (EE, EET, ME, MET or comparable). An equivalent combination of relevant experience, certifications, and training may also be considered
• PLC Programming: Rockwell and/or GE
• SCADA Configuration and Programming: Rockwell RSView, Aveva InTouch & System Platform, Cimplicity, iFix, etc.
• Control Systems implementation, design, installs, and troubleshooting
• Experience with industrial application programming languages
• Experience with Electrical Schematics
• Acute attention to detail and process, Strong ability to solve problems and research solutions and Excellent customer service attitude
