Responsibilities
- Control Path Development
- Develop and maintain control plane services supporting Data Ocean platform management and orchestration.
- Design and implement management APIs and service interfaces. Develop workflows for caching operations, data movement, configuration management, and platform lifecycle activities.
- Build monitoring, telemetry, and operational capabilities to improve system visibility and reliability.
- Support integration between Data Ocean components and external storage or platform services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues across distributed platform components.
- Develop automated testing frameworks for validating Data Ocean features and services.
- Create automation for functional, integration, regression, and system-level testing.
- Perform feature validation and verification across distributed storage environments.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify issues early and improve overall software quality.
- Contribute to test strategy, automation coverage, and release readiness.
- Support CI/CD improvements to enable faster and more reliable software delivery.
Engineering Collaboration
Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and code reviews.
Work closely with senior engineers, architects, QA, and DevOps teams.
Debug complex software issues and contribute to root-cause analysis.
Follow engineering best practices for design, coding, testing, and documentation.
Contribute to continuous improvement of development and validation processes.
