Role Responsibilities
- Manage contracting strategy for onshore projects and lead project contract plans.
- Provide technical, commercial, and functional leadership across contracting activities.
- Lead ITT issuance, contract execution, services administration, tendering, and contract governance.
- Assess contractor submissions and advise management and shareholders on awards and commercial exposure.
- Oversee changes, payments, claims, securities, amendments, disputes, and contract closeout.
- Mentor contracts personnel and drive continuous improvement and commercial stewardship.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or Engineering.
- At least 12 years of experience across multiple project functions in the oil and gas industry.
- At least 3 years of project management leadership on a major oil and gas project.
- Experience in business and risk management, project controls, cost and schedule development, tender preparation, and contract management.
Required Expertise
- Contract lifecycle management and EPC contracting.
- Commercial and risk management.
- Procurement strategy development.
- Claims, disputes, and change management.
- Stakeholder and vendor governance management.
Compensation
- Daily rate in USD plus allowance.
Work Schedule
- The work schedule is 10 hours per day, 6 days per week.
Assignment Duration
The assignment duration is 36 months and is renewable.
Location
- The role is located in Qatar.
