Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Drive company safety policies, practices, and procedures in compliance with OH&S legislative requirements.
• Tender subcontract packages by preparing documents and lists, issuing tender information, receiving and comparing tenders, and submitting recommendations.
• Prepare contract documents for each trade package and subcontract.
• Assist the Project Manager with progress claims, variation claims, and other project-related financial matters.
• Participate in monthly reporting on cash flow forecasting, variation status, contractual matters, and cost analysis.
• Establish effective site or office-based project administration systems under company procedures and guidelines.

Qualifications and experience

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management, or relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role within the building construction industry.
• Ability to communicate, influence, and build effective relationships across the business and work effectively in a team.
• Ability to operate autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning, listening, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage shifting work priorities and deliver results.
