Responsibilities
- Provide support to clients with Apexa onboarding and contracting process
- Set up license sponsorship, carrier support, etc.
- Facilitate and process client changes, contracts, and transfers within Apexa
- Support administration and set up of commissions for advisors
- Provide prompt and courteous resolution of enquiries from Advisors and customers
- Screen contracts and related documents to ensure compliance and regulatory standards
- Enter and maintain data into multiple administration systems; review and analyze data for accuracy
Requirements
- Knowledge of insurance industry (2+ years)
- Customer support experience (2 years minimum)
- Completion of post secondary education or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, email and database software
- System expertise in Apexa, WealthServ
- Strong attention to detail/accuracy
- Excellent customer service skills

- Reporting to the Contracting Manager, the Contracting Specialist provides optimal support to advisors with all their day to day contracting needs.

What you’ll be working on
- Providing support to clients with the Apexa onboarding and the contracting process.
- Setting up license sponsorship, carrier support, etc.
- Facilitating and processing client changes, contracts, and transfers within Apexa.
- Support the administration and set up of commissions for existing and incoming advisors.
- Perform other related activities and participate in ad hoc projects.
- Provides prompt and courteous resolution of enquiries from Advisors and customers.
- Applies critical thinking to screen contracts and related documents.
- Enters and maintains data into multiple administration systems.
- Provides support to multiple teams for projects, product launches and system maintenance.
- Supports and provides technical training to the team.
- Participate in industry changes including new partnerships and mergers and acquisitions.
- Responsible for key distribution partner contracts and contracting changes.
What we’re looking for you to have
- Knowledge of insurance industry (2+ years)
- Customer support experience (2 years minimum)
- Completion of post secondary education or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, e mail and database computer software with system expertise in Apexa, WealthServ
- Ability to work independently, prioritize and balance multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail/accuracy
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Well developed analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent organization, problem solving and mathematical comprehension skills
- Excellent customer service skills, patience and empathy
