Contract Support Specialist

As a Contract Support Specialist , you will be an integral member of the government contracting office team, and will play a critical role in supporting procurement, contract modifications, and source selection efforts within a dynamic and mission-driven Intelligence Community customer environment.

This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to the FAR requirements, and alignment with overarching program objectives.

You will work closely with the government Contracting Officer throughout the systems acquisition and contracting lifecycle, to support the government contracting office in planning, coordinating, and executing acquisition strategies that meet mission needs.

This position requires a strong leader with the ability to manage both strategically and tactically.

This role is critical to ensuring that contracting activities comply with all legal and regulatory requirements while enabling the successful execution of mission objectives.

will include but are not limited to:

• Develop, review, and manage acquisition documents, including Statements of Work (SOWs), Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs), and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
• Advise on acquisition strategies, including IDIQ, CPFF, CPAF, T&M, FFP and other contract types as appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with agency-specific acquisition policies and federal regulations, including the FAR and DFARS.
• Act as a liaison between government stakeholders and industry partners to clarify requirements and resolve acquisition-related issues.
• Coordinate with stakeholder organizations to ensure alignment with program objectives.
