Role Context
Reporting to the Commercial Director, the Contract Manager has overall responsibility for project-wide contractual, commercial, and control activities.
The role covers payment certificates, variations, claims, notices, and contract management procedures.
Main Duties
- Initiate contractual correspondence, vet contractually relevant correspondence and minutes, and draft responses to the Contractor.
- Follow up on Contractor guarantees and insurances and required changes in their value.
- Supervise the Quantity Surveyor on measurement, progress payments, and provisional sums.
- Monitor progress and schedule adherence to support variation and claims management and reporting.
- Maintain cost databases and risk registers for variation and claims management and reporting.
Profile and Skills
- At least 10 years of experience in the relevant field on similar projects.
