- Champion the adoption of digital technologies and AI capabilities across Cenovus
- Support the development and execution of digital enablement strategies that increase awareness, understanding, and business utilization of AI and emerging technologies
- Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities where technology and AI can improve operational efficiency, productivity, and decision making
- Help establish and promote best practices for AI awareness, responsible use, and business adoption
- Drive engagement activities, workshops, and communication programs that support organizational readiness and adoption
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the organization
- Coordinate and align efforts between business functions, Data & IT teams, vendors, consultants, and external partners
- Lead and coordinate multiple concurrent digital initiatives, ensuring alignment to business priorities and strategic objectives
- Proactively manage dependencies, risks, issues, and resource constraints across complex project environments
- Develop and maintain project plans, status reporting, executive updates, and performance metrics
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience driving stakeholder engagement and technology adoption within large, complex organizations
- Experience leading initiatives involving digital transformation, AI adoption, business process improvement, or enterprise technology deployment
- Proven success managing cross functional teams and multiple stakeholder groups in fast paced environments

Role Overview
- Cenovus is accelerating its digital transformation journey through the adoption of modern technologies, data driven decision making, and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
- We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Digital Enablement & AI Adoption Project Manager to support the continued growth and adoption of digital capabilities across the organization.
- This role serves as a critical bridge between business and technology teams, driving awareness, engagement, and implementation of digital and AI enabled initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Champion the adoption of digital technologies and AI capabilities across Cenovus.
- Support the development and execution of digital enablement strategies that increase awareness, understanding, and business utilization of AI and emerging technologies.
- Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities where technology and AI can improve operational efficiency, productivity, and decision making.
- Help establish and promote best practices for AI awareness, responsible use, and business adoption.
- Drive engagement activities, workshops, and communication programs that support organizational readiness and adoption.
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the organization, from frontline teams to executive leadership.
- Coordinate and align efforts between business functions, Data & IT teams, vendors, consultants, and external partners.

- Proactively manage dependencies, risks, issues, and resource constraints across complex project environments.

- Translate business requirements into actionable work packages for technology teams.
- Support innovation initiatives and foster collaboration between business teams and Data & IT to accelerate value realization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience driving stakeholder engagement and technology adoption within large, complex organizations.
- Experience leading initiatives involving digital transformation, AI adoption, business process improvement, or enterprise technology deployment.
- Proven success managing cross functional teams and multiple stakeholder groups in fast paced environments.
- Experience supporting AI, automation, analytics, or digital enablement programs (preferred).
- Familiarity with change management, organizational adoption, and communication strategies (preferred).
- Experience working with enterprise platforms, cloud technologies, data initiatives, or emerging digital technologies (preferred).
- PMP, Agile, Scrum, Prosci, or related certifications are considered assets.
