Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, for a Contract Administration / Corporate Legal professional.

The role will support the management, review, tracking, and administration of commercial contracts, corporate documentation, and project-related legal matters, with a strong focus on construction and development activities.

The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams, external counsel, consultants, and contractors to ensure contracts are properly prepared, executed, tracked, and maintained.

This role is particularly suited to someone with a legal background and practical experience in contract administration within construction or development projects, ideally including Maldives resort developments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, track, and administer a wide range of commercial and construction-related contracts.
  • Support the drafting, review, and coordination of FIDIC-based contracts, subcontractor agreements, consultancy agreements, contractor agreements, supplier agreements, and related project documentation.
  • Maintain contract registers, correspondence logs, variation records, and key contractual dates and obligations.
  • Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors, and legal advisers on contract matters, claims, notices, and amendments.
  • Assist with corporate legal administration, including document control, board resolutions, approvals, and corporate records.
  • Monitor contract compliance, milestones, and renewal or expiry dates.
  • Support the review of contractual risks, obligations, and commercial terms in coordination with management and legal counsel.
  • Ensure proper filing, version control, and organization of all legal and contract documentation.
  • Assist in dispute avoidance by tracking notices, deadlines, and key contractual correspondence.
  • Provide general legal and administrative support across construction and development projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Legal background, paralegal experience, or experience in contract administration with legal exposure.
  • Strong experience in construction contract administration, preferably in development or hospitality projects.
  • Experience with FIDIC contracts and subcontractor agreements is highly preferred.
  • Experience in Maldives resort construction projects is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with contract drafting, review, document control, and compliance tracking.
  • Strong understanding of commercial contracts and construction documentation.
  • Excellent organizational, coordination, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience working with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders in a project environment.
  • Knowledge of corporate legal administration is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Law, Legal Studies, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
